The Cape to Cape Walk Track
Looking for a bit of adventure while in Margaret River? Join thousands of like minded visitors and locals who have explored the Cape to Cape Walk Track. The track runs for 123 kms along the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge, between the lighthouses of Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin, the best part is, you can do as little or as much of it as you would like, when you like!
-
Track Start
This magical trail starts at Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, about 13km from Dunsborough, which is located 255km (3 hours) south of Perth. This is where Chauff-Her can transfer you from your accommodation to the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse where you can embark on your unforgettable walking journey.
-
Track Middle
The Cape to Cape track can be broken into small or large increments. Some people choose to do whole 123km track and sleep swag style along the trail as they go, but rough sleeping isn’t for everyone. If you would prefer a comfortable bed for the evening, Chauff-Her can meet you at any point along the Cape to Cape track after a big day of exploring and transfer you to your accommodation for the afternoon / evening. Chaff-Her can then pick you up from your accommodation the next morning and take you back to the track so you can continue on your journey. Luggage transfer can also be arranged if needed.
-
Track End
If you choose to complete the entire track, you will end your journey at the majestic Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, Augusta. Chauff-Her will be there to meet you (if you’re flying solo) or your group and take celebratory photos, then drive you safely back to your accommodation or favourite winery to celebrate your accomplishment!
The Australian outback although beautiful, can be dangerous. Try to plan your walk in the cooler months. We recommend you consult your G.P before embarking on the Cape to Cape Track as it can be physically challenging. Be sure to equip yourself with water, suncream and a hat, and if completing the whole track, consult reputable websites for more information about what you need to do to prepare for your journey.
